COURTNEY SARRE Former artistic directer and co-founder of the Musical Theater Center, has spent the past 20 years directing and coaching children across the country. From working with children in at-risk  schools to preparing children for auditions on Broadway, Courtney has always used theater as a tool to help develop the whole child. Courtney spent her early adult years performing professionally for Walt Disney World. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Children's Theater from The College of Charleston, Courtney moved to Washington, DC where she directed and choreographed numbers for the White House Easter Egg Roll. Courtney is an instructor with Threshold Repertory Youth Program, as well as the Educational Director.

CHEYENNE BEETS is a native of Charleston with a passion for all things Low Country to include its rich history in theater. She graduated from Charleston Southern University where she studied Psychology & Theatre, choreographed their productions, and was most recently cast in "Diving Into the Wreck" and "Seussical." For over 10 years, and most recently under the tutelage Charleston Dance Institute as well as Dance FX, Cheyenne has studied various styles of dance to include ballet, pointe, modern, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre, and jazz, with recent training in Aerial Silks dancing and Ballroom dancing. She is also a member of the Dancefx Performance Company. Having been in numerous performances throughout the Low Country, and attaining a passion for Musical Theatre specifically, she truly finds joy in bringing the love of performing arts to others in a tangible, easy to learn way. She has served as a performing arts instructor and choreographer at various theatres and programs East of the Cooper, and has taught performing arts to children since 2008. Cheyenne has also accepted various positions at Charleston Stage, Musical Theatre Center, Flowertown Players, and South of Broadway Theatre Company while developing her craft. She is thrilled to now be on staff with Threshold Repertory, instilling the same love and passion for theatre, dance, and choreography that she has enjoyed over the years.
